Oppo A77s

It’s not easy to find a smartphone that combines both power and good looks. The Oppo A77s is one such device that attempts to bridge the gap between the two.

OPPO’s newest midrange phone, the Oppo A77s, aims to deliver a robust experience in a sleek package.

Now let’s have a look at the top five reasons why the Oppo A77s is such a high-powered and fashionable smartphone. Okay, so let’s get started.

1. Stylish appearance of Oppo A77s

The OPPO A77s’s sleek and understated appearance is a major selling point. You can choose between Sunset Orange and Starry Black. Sunset Orange is the first to combine fiberglass and leather in its construction. The luxury look and feel is complemented by the item’s brilliant hue. But the Starry Black holds up well against scratches and wear. The matte finish on the rear prevents dirt and fingerprints from sticking to it.

The black OPPO A77s has the trademark OPPO Glow, which makes the phone look like the starry night sky. It shimmers when it catches and refracts the light. The OPPO A77s is a more up-to-date option because to its flat metallic edges and stylish lens design. It weighs just 187g and measures just 7.99mm thick, making it incredibly light and easy to carry around. The IP54 classification indicates that it is resistant to dust and water, adding to its durability.

2. Good performance

The OPPO A77s has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 engine, an Adreno 610 graphics processing unit for games, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage for all of your media files, apps, and documents. Storage on the OPPO A77s can be upgraded to a whopping 1TB with the use of a microSD card.

Fast App Switching is also included, thus increasing the device’s RAM by up to 8GB. You’d be able to run more programs simultaneously with a total of 16GB of RAM.  Tested on the widely-used AnTuTu benchmark, the OPPO A77s performed admirably with a score of 282,596.

It’s also solid for casual uses like checking email, using social media, snapping photos, recording videos, or playing music.  The OPPO A77s can play games like Call of Duty Mobile with no hiccups on medium to high graphics settings.

3. Display and Sound

A decent screen shows off all of its capabilities. The OPPO A77s’s 6.56-inch IPS panel with an HD+ pixel resolution is the third reason why this is a sleek and potent handset. The quick refresh rate of 90 Hz improves the visual fluidity of the user interface and compatible games. The display has an eye protection mode and a color gamut of 100% DCI-P3 to ensure the safety of the user’s eyes during prolonged use. Additionally, streaming services support HD-definition video.

The OPPO A77s boasts two high-quality stereo speakers that project sound loudly and clearly. There is sufficient volume, decent stereo separation, and high-quality sound. The OPPO A77s clearly excels in both visual and aural aspects.

Oppo A77s

4. Batteries and rapid charging

No amount of performance matters if the device dies mid-task due to a lack of power. The OPPO A77s’s battery, thankfully, is quite sizable at 5,000mAh. They claim that customers can watch YouTube videos continuously for up to 18 hours, which is a remarkable feat of endurance.

The 33W SUPERVOOC charging technology is a highlight, allowing for a complete charge in around an hour. A simple 10-minute charge will provide you with three hours of video streaming time. Moreover, there are five distinct layers of defense built in. Even after being charged and drained 800 times or more, the battery will remain in good shape thanks to night charging prevention and battery safety protection.

5. Good Cameras

And last but not least, the OPPO A77s cameras are a plus. The OPPO A77s continues OPPO’s tradition of excellent smartphone photography. The main camera is a sharp 50-megapixel, and it’s paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor in a dual-camera system on the rear. There’s a front-facing 8-megapixel shooter for all your selfie needs. Extra HD mode on the main camera, which enables 108-megapixel still shots, produces excellent results. If you’re viewing an image online, the default view has nice colors and contrast. Capturing images in low light is also a strength.

The depth sensor, the second camera, lets you shoot pictures with blurred backgrounds similar to those you’d get with a DSLR and with varying degrees of bokeh for even more creative control. Conversely, the front 8-megapixel camera captures sharp photographs with natural-looking skin tones. It also offers a portrait mode that achieves decent bokeh effects in the background without the use of a dedicated depth sensor, and it has useful features like Photo Face HDR.

The best phone 2023 to look forward

So what can we expect to see in the world of Best phone 2023? Here are a few of the most highly anticipated releases to keep an eye on:

  1. Samsung Galaxy S23 Series
best phone 2023

The Galaxy S23 is expected to be a highly anticipated release for consumers around the world due to Samsung’s widespread presence and network coverage. The previous S22 models had some iterative updates and battery capacity reductions, so it is hoped that the S23 will improve upon these features. Rumors indicate that the base S23 and S23 Plus models may have larger batteries and the S23 Ultra may include a 200MP camera. We will have to wait and see what Samsung has in store for the S23 series.

  1. Oppo Find X6 Pro

The Find X5 Pro was a top performer in 2022 due to its sleek design, high-quality display, and efficient charging capabilities. As a result, we are excited to see what the Find X6 Pro will bring to the table. While the Find X5 Pro was already a strong device, there is still room for improvement in the Find X6 Pro. We hope to see improved zoom, reduced bloatware, and a more reasonable price. There is also a rumor that the Find X6 Pro may include the impressive IMX989 one-inch main camera, which we are eager to see in action.

best phone 2023
  1. Google Pixel 8 series

The Pixel 7 Pro received awards for the best smartphone of the year, so we are eager to see how the Pixel 8 series compares. While we anticipate the typical upgrades such as a Tensor G3 processor and enhanced camera quality, we are also interested in seeing new camera modes and AI-powered features. Additionally, we hope that Google improves upon the slow wired charging times of the Pixel 7 with the Pixel 8. Overall, we are looking forward to seeing what the Pixel 8 has to offer.

best phone 2023
  1. Google Pixel Fold

There have been rumors circulating for a few years about Google releasing a foldable device, with some reports suggesting that two foldable devices were in development and others indicating that plans had been cancelled. However, recent leaks suggest that a Pixel foldable, called the Pixel Fold, may be released in 2023. The renders show that the device is expected to be wider than the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and similar in height to the Oppo Find N. It is also expected to have a triple rear camera with the typical Pixel camera bar. In addition to these features, the Pixel Fold is expected to include AI-powered calling and camera capabilities, as well as excellent picture quality.

  1. Samsung Galaxy Z5 foldable

Many people were hoping for more substantial changes from the previous models when the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Fold 4 were released in 2022. As a result, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are highly anticipated to see if they significantly improve upon the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, respectively. Flip 5 will have a larger cover screen and a flatter crease. Some believe that the upcoming versions will have dust-resistant construction, upgraded cameras, and superior foldable displays. To find out what Samsung has planned for these new gadgets, we must wait.

  1. Sony Xperia 1 V
best phone 2023

In large part thanks to its ground-breaking variable telephoto rear camera, the Xperia 1 IV was undoubtedly Sony’s most impressive flagship phone in years. There was no break in the optical zoom between the 3.5x and 5.2x ranges.

In saying this, we meant that we didn’t think the camera’s photos were as good as they could have been and that the zoom range wasn’t very impressive. We can’t wait to get our hands on Sony’s Xperia 1 V and see how the company responds to this issue. Since the Japanese manufacturer has already introduced innovations such as 4K/120Hz displays, Pro camera software, and more, we can’t wait to see what else it has in store.

  1. OnePlus 11
best phone 2023

The OnePlus 10 Pro was not a huge improvement over last year’s model, despite having some welcome new features including a larger battery, increased processing power, and quicker cable charging. However, the phone’s degraded ultrawide camera, lackluster low-light image capturing, and T-Mobile-only IP68 classification were major letdowns.

We have previously seen what appear to be the OnePlus 11’s specifications and renders, and it seems like we might be getting another minimal redesign. Notable alleged features include a 100W fast-charging battery, a 50MP primary camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 32MP 2x tele, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. But I’m hoping that the next flagship’s features go beyond its technical specifications.

Conclusion

Best phone 2023? With numerous highly anticipated releases scheduled for 2023, the year of mobile devices is shaping up to be an exciting one. It is anticipated that each of these gadgets would come with its own set of features, aesthetics, and functionality. It will be fascinating to observe how these cutting-edge gadgets stack up against their forerunners and what other improvements they may offer in the ever-changing world of technology.

huawei p50 pocket phone

Huawei has recently unveiled its newest flagship smartphone, the Huawei P50 Pocket. This compact device is packed with features and boasts a sleek design, making it a top choice for smartphone users.

Huawei P50 Pocket Phone is the foldable variant of the Huawei P50, which was introduced in December 2021, and its projected price is roughly $1,412.  However, there is no competitive advantage apparent in this phone when compared to the Samsung foldable smartphone.

But, the foldable 6.9-inch OLED display offers immersive colors and 120 Hz refresh capability, and the hues and saturation are rather good. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the side. In terms of computing power, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G processor. The Huawei P50 Pocket Phone, unfortunately, did not support the 5G band. Hopefully, HarmonyOS 2.0 is a breath of fresh air in comparison to the standard Android OS.

Huawei P50 Pocket Phone Pros and Cons

ProsCons
A choice of immersive color palettes. Not equipped with gorilla glass protection.
Colorful and bright OLED screen.Expensive phone compared to the specs available.
Fantastic foldable design.Lack of IP rating certification.
Lots of memory and CPU speed.Without support for custom UI.
Refresh rate of 120Hz for a fluid experience. No NFC support.
HarmonyOS 2.0 support.Comparatively low battery capacity.
4K videography and stunning pictures. Not compatible with 5G connectivity.
Support for secondary coverage screen. No Google services
Allows for rapid charging and reverse charging.

Huawei P50 Pocket Phone features excellent hardware that surpasses Samsung’s finest efforts, but the primary issue is the lack of 5G connection and compatibility for essential Google applications and services.

huawei p50 pocket phone

Huawei P50 Pocket Phone Camera

One of the standout features of the P50 Pocket is its camera system. There are three primary lenses, but only two are active for your core photography, so this is actually more like a duel camera, with a 40Mp main shooter and a 13Mp ultra-wide, which can both capture 4K video at 60fps.

A 32Mp ‘Ultra Spectrum’ camera is included. This isn’t used to shoot images on its own but, together with a separate multi-spectrum sensor, gives depth and color information to aid the two primary lenses produce better photos with richer color details.

Huawei P50 Pocket Phone Display and Performace

In addition to its impressive camera capabilities, the P50 Pocket also has a compact and lightweight design. The device measures only 6.9 inches, making it easy to carry and use with one hand. Despite its small size, the P50 Pocket has a large 6.9-inch OLED display, providing users with a beautiful and immersive viewing experience.

The P50 Pocket is also powerful and efficient, thanks to its Snapdragon 888 processor. This state-of-the-art chip ensures smooth and efficient performance, even when multitasking or running demanding apps and games. The device also has a 4000 mAh battery, capacity is not tremendous, but it is much more than Samsung’s 3300 mAh. As a consequence, the Pocket is readily capable of lasting a whole day and can go a little longer if necessary.

huawei p50 pocket phone

Huawei P50 Pocket Phone Price

The P50 Pocket may be purchased in Europe for a starting price of €1,299, or around $1,450. Some Asian cities, like as Hong Kong and Singapore, offer slightly lower prices, but you may still expect to pay $1,300 or more. The white version costs this much, while the gold “premium edition” goes for €1,599, or about $1,800.

Neither the Galaxy Z Flip 3 from Samsung nor the Oppo Find N, which has a larger screen, cost as much as these two large-format foldables.

Fans of smartphones may question Huawei’s pricing strategy. On the other hand, Huawei is an experienced player. In the realm of high fashion, the suggested retail price of $1,300 to $1,800 for the P50 Pocket is not excessive. You’d have to pay twice as much for a designer bag.

motorola edge 30 fusion

With a similar look to the discontinued Motorola Edge 30 Ultra and a somewhat older flagship-level chipset, the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is an intriguing option. The screen of the Edge 30 Fusion refreshes at 144 hertz, the camera has 50 megapixels, and the phone has a 68-watt fast charging.

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion: How does it compare to other smartphones? Here’s what this review has to say:

ProsCons
Equipped with both 5G and NFC connectivity. No support for charging in reverse.
Allow for a rapid 68W charge.Without support for custom UI.
LCD display with a P-OLED panel and a refresh rate of 144 hertz. The capacity of the battery is adequate.
Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protectionWithout support for wireless charging.
Features protection from moisture and dirt. There is no optical zoom camera.
Excellent performance for an octa-core CPU.The Micro SD card slot is absent.
There is an ultrawide lens camera available.
Provide gyro-EIS for 8K video recording.
It has stereo speakers. It has stereo speakers.
Outstanding speed for games and multitasking.

Motorola Edge 30 Fusion Specs

motorola edge 30 fusion

This looks quite promising on the concept. The Edge 30 Fusion’s aesthetic appeal extends beyond its exterior design. The exterior is really classy, with clean yet strong lines, rounded corners (especially on the screen) and a faux leather finish that brings everything together. The Edge 30 Fusion exudes an air of refined professionalism, befitting a display on a boardroom table.

1. Display

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion 5G features a 6.55-inch P-OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, and 1100 nits Pick Brightness. As an HDR10+ prepared panel, it also features a touch sampling rate of 360Hz and a pixel density of 402 PPI.

2. Performance

The gadget is powered by a Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888+ 5G processor, which operates at a maximum clock speed of 1.2.99 GHz and is manufactured on a 5nm process node. The smartphone has no micro SD card port but comes with 128/256/512GB of built-in storage in 8GB or 12GB RAM variants.

motorola edge 30 fusion

3. Camera

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion 5G’s 32-megapixel front-facing camera, by the way, makes use of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The rear camera supports recording at 1080p/30/60fps, 4k/30/60fps, and 8k/30/60fps, but the front camera only supports recording at 1080p/30fps. Comprehensive Analysis of the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion

4. Battery

The 4,400 mAh battery may be quickly recharged using the device’s 68W charger. Getting from zero to fifty percent charge will take roughly ten minutes.

If you use your smartphone normally, the battery should last a whole day; but, if you use it for both work and play, you should plan to charge it twice a day. Now, this isn’t a major issue because Motorola thoughtfully included a 68W charger.

Is the Edge 30 Fusion worth buying?

motorola edge 30 fusion

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion combines premium features with mid-range specs.

That’s not inexpensive, and the value can’t compare to the Google Pixel 6a or the Nothing Phone 1. If you want an Android-based phone that looks premium but isn’t expensive, the Edge 30 Fusion is a good choice. It’s not a slam dunk that I’d suggest it above cheaper competitors in the category, but it’s compelling enough that I’d think twice before saving $100 on the Samsung Galaxy A73.

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is a subpar premium phone with limited expectations.

Maximize your phone’s use by unlocking its network.

If you already own a Motorola Edge 30 Fusion but it is locked to a certain carrier, you may want to consider unlocking it by following the instructions provided in the link provided above.

motorola edge 30 fusion

Conclusion

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, in any light, is a fantastic Android phone. You get a sophisticated gadget with a gorgeous display, high-quality cameras, and a powerful chipset with a capable graphics unit, all for a price that won’t break the bank.

Also, it has an extremely fast charging time, which is unmatched by its competitors. If you want a versatile Android phone that looks attractive, then you should consider the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion. If you have any questions let us know in the comment section below!

sony Xperia 5 iv

The Xperia 5 IV, which was just introduced by Sony, is turning out to be one of the most compact Android flagships currently available on the market. Since it has been more than a year since we were wowed by the Xperia 5 III, we are quite excited to meet the device that will take its place: the Sony Xperia 5 IV.

The screen, performance, camera technology, quality, and battery capacity have all been improved, yet the device has (slightly) decreased in size.

The new Sony Xperia 5 IV has a design similar to that of other recent models of the Xperia smartphone line. It has a traditional, straightforward appearance with flat, matte panels made of Gorilla Glass Victus sheets and a flat metal frame with a matte finish. The Sony Xperia 5 IV has the same level of protection against dust and water as the rest of the series.

Unboxing Sony Xperia 5 IV

The Sony Xperia 5 IV comes in a sleek white package that just includes the smartphone itself and nothing else.

This year, Sony has taken further steps to reduce its impact on the environment. In addition to removing the charger from its packaging, the company has also removed the USB-C cord.

You need to get the 30W Rapid charger XQZ-UC1 charger if you want to take advantage of the fast charging capability. This charger does come equipped with a USB-C cable for your convenience. And it had better be since it costs fifty euros. There are, without a doubt, a wealth of cheaper options provided by third parties.

Sony Xperia 5 IV Pros and Cons

Pros Cons

Support for both wireless and reversible charging.Screens with default brightness.
a smartphone with 5G and NFC.without support for custom UI.
Android OS 12 up to 13shared micro SD card slots for SIMs.

fingerprint scanner located on the side.
There are two stereo speakers.
strong multitasking and gaming abilities.
Victus Corning Gorilla Glass protection
support for dust and water resistance IP65/IP68.
astonishing camera performance.

Sony Xperia 5 IV Design and Performance

First, let’s look at the bright side of things. The Sony Xperia 5 IV keeps all of the fantastic features that were found in its predecessor, like the SD card slot, the 3.5mm audio connection, the brilliant display (which is now even brighter!), and the front-facing stereo speakers. An impressive accomplishment in and of itself is the fact that Sony was able to fit a larger battery inside of this chassis that is just slightly smaller, in addition to the required coils for the wireless charging technology.

The periscope camera that had two different focal lengths (70mm and 105mm) has been replaced with a normal 60mm telephoto that has the equivalent of 2.5x optical zoom. This is the bad news. The retail package is very sparse, as Sony has gone green to the extreme (there is neither a charger nor a cable included), but other than that, we are dealing with a genuinely reliable tiny flagship device. Let’s plunge in!

sony Xperia 5 iv

What are the most recent updates to the Sony Xperia 5 IV?

  • Brighter 6.1-inch AMOLED display with a brightness of more than 1000 nits and a refresh rate of 120 Hz
  • Bigger battery – 5,000mAh
  • chassis that is marginally smaller in size
  • Speakers with a closed back for stereo systems
  • upgraded front camera with 12 megapixels
  • a telephoto camera featuring a 60mm lens, 12 megapixels, and optical image stabilization (2.5x optical zoom)
  • Charging using wireless means

Sony has announced that it would begin updating parts of its product line to Android 13, Google’s most recent OS release. For comparison, Google has already delivered upgrades for its Pixel devices based on Android 13, while Samsung has begun rolling out updates for its Galaxy S22 series. Despite this, Sony will be among the first Android OEMs to start releasing Android 13 upgrades.

Sony Xperia 5 IV Unlock

If your Sony Xperia 5 IV has been paid for but is still not unlocked, you will need to contact your carrier to seek an unlock. Prior to calling, though, you may be able to commence the unlocking procedure using your carrier’s website. Check out AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon’s device unlocking sites; your request may take up months to be processed and need to submit all the requirements.

Huawei Mate 50 Pro

Huawei released three Mate 50 phones with the same variable aperture camera and the newest Qualcomm CPU, but no 5G capability. The company’s latest specs-heavy flagships were introduced two years after the Mate 40 phones and a year after the Huawei Mate 50 Pro.

Huawei hasn’t said whether the Huawei Mate 50 Pro, Huawei Mate 50, and Huawei Mate 50 Pro RS Porsche design would be released outside China, but we hope so. The Huawei Mate 50 series’ satellite communications capabilities a global first are covered here.

Reviewing the Huawei Mate 50 Pro Right Out of the Box

What you see is what you get with the Huawei Mate 50 Pro retail package. A 66W charger, a clear protective case, and a USB-A to USB-C cable with a 6A rating are included in the package.

What are the Huawei Mate 50 Pro’s capabilities and features?

Huawei Mate 50 Pro

162.1 x 75.5 x 8.5 mm, 205 / 209 grams. Adreno 730 powers the Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ 4G Gen 1 Octa-core CPU.

The phone has 8 GB RAM and 256 or 512 GB storage. The OLED 6.76-inch panel has 1212 x 2616 pixels. IP68 dust/water resistance. Huawei Kunlun Glass covers it.

The back camera has 50 MP (wide) + 64 MP (periscope telephoto) optical zoom + 13 MP (ultrawide) while the front camera has 13 MP + TOF 3D (depth/biometrics sensor).

Huawei Mate 50 Pro has face ID, under display, optical fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, barometer, compass, and color spectrum sensors. Non-removable Li-Po 4700 mAh battery, fast battery charging 66W, fast wireless charging 50W, and reverse wireless charging 5W power the phone.

Black, Silver, Purple, and Orange are available. EMUI 13 (International)/HarmonyOS 3.0 (China) powers the phone.

Huawei Mate 50 Pro’s Camera

Huawei Mate 50 Pro
https://consumer.huawei.com/en/phones/mate50-pro/

The Huawei Mate 50 Pro has a far better color than the Mate 40 Pro. Photos appear clear and true to color. Most importantly, the primary camera’s RYYB sensor eliminates color cast.

XMAGE’s three styles original, clear, and bright restore realism and alter color contrast and saturation.

The ten-stop adjustable aperture of F1.4-F4.0 is handy, and the automated aperture selection will transform your images inadvertently. In food mode, the F4 aperture preserves edge picture quality, while the portrait F1.4 aperture increases the blur and tunes well.

Consider HDR Vivid “self-pleasing.” HDR Vivid will improve Huawei Mate 50 Pro images on your phone, but others may not notice. Full-link HDR isn’t exclusive to Huawei, but it improves photo quality.

Huawei Mate 50 Pro’s HarmonyOS

Satellite Communication

First, satellite communication technology. The mobile phone’s satellite communication capacity transfers the information to the satellite, which then sends it to the terrestrial base station and eventually to the receiver. Thus, communication is possible without a cell phone signal.

You may send a text message with coordinate information to a contact for aid by clicking Beidou Satellite Message in the App, selecting the contact, and the content. The real test process takes 5 minutes from sending to receiving. However, this capability can only send text messages and is not usable inside. Emergency aid is its major purpose.

As the first Huawei phone with HarmonyOS 3 pre-installed, Huawei Mate 50 Pro also boasts several useful features.

  • Super Transfer Station

We frequently need to alter images, text, files, and other material across programs. One-by-one processing is inefficient. HarmonyOS 3’s mega transfer station lets users drag and drop photos, documents, and communications. It may be batch-shared after editing.

  • Desktop Service Card

HarmonyOS 3 lets users rapidly organize their desktops by color or function with one click. HarmonyOS 3 offers many desktop smart layout designs on one screen to assist customers to pick a layout they like.

  • Security Center

Smartphones save much of personal data as crucial tools. Users also notice its security. HarmonyOS 3’s Security Center shows device security at any time. Virus killing, harassment interception, payment protection center usage, and others actively assist users to discover problems and recommend device protection for various scenarios. Users may monitor the security status of the local device and other HUAWEI ID devices.

Huawei Mate 50 Pro

Conclusion

With the release of the Mate 50 series, Huawei has announced to the world that it is once again the leader in premium smartphones. Despite several flaws, it remains competitive in the premium smartphone market because of its gorgeous design, top-tier photographic capabilities, stealth technologies (such as satellite connectivity and an emergency mode), and the savvy experience given by HarmonyOS.

Google Pixel 7 Pro

Both the Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro are significant improvements over the Pixel 6 and 6 Plus that Google released last year. With a striking new appearance and an all-new chipset, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro launched a new era for Google’s mobile devices. Despite their immense potential, these technologies typically fell short of their lofty goals.

Google hasn’t perfected them with this revision, but its Pixel phones hold their own against the likes of the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. They’re a year late, but better late than never, since they’re what Google’s Pixel 6 and 6 Pro should have been all along.

Google Pixel 7 Pro: Pros and Cons

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is a slight upgrade over the outstanding Pixel 6 Pro, offering noticeable improvements to the photography experience, particularly at the extreme ends of the zoom.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro, a flagship device with a full experience, is reasonably priced. The camera continues to be in the lead, helped along by a fantastic display, ample power, and a long enough battery life. The icing on the cake is getting first dibs on Android updates.

PROSCONS
Clean software experienceNot many changes from the Pixel 6 Pro
Competitive priceA couple of issues with phone calls
Useful 2x and 10x camera crop modesShorter battery life than the Pixel 7
Powerful software toolsCan get a bit warm under a load
Flatter sidesHDR sharing limited

What’s inside the box?

Google’s new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, with details on availability and pricing

The base model of the Google Pixel 7 Pro costs $899 and comes with 128 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM. You can get it in the States, Europe, and even certain Asian nations. It is now available for purchase via Google, Best Buy, and other outlets.

  • 599$ for a Pixel 7 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage

8GB/256GB: $699

  • 12GB/128GB for $899 on the Google Pixel 7 Pro

12GB/256GB: $999

12GB/512GB: $1,099

Google Pixel 7 Pro: Design

Google Pixel 7 Pro continues Pixel 6 series design. It features the same famous camera visor on the rear, an all-glass design, and rounded display edges. The two-tone design language is gone, the curved edges are subtler, and the camera visor circles the camera lenses to highlight them.

The Pixel 7 Pro’s shiny metallic bar scratches and damage easily.Consider buying a Google Pixel 7 Pro case to avoid that issue. The camera visor integrates somewhat more into the phone’s side rails. Despite its advancements, last year’s Pixel 6 series was divisive, so if you disliked it, you probably won’t like this one either.

If you update, you can’t use your Pixel 6 Pro cases since the power and volume buttons have shifted down. Because screenshotting is tougher than it should be, I still find the button location weird. I’d rather exchange the power and volume buttons. Finally, there’s a top mmWave window.

Google Pixel 7 Pro

Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro camera

The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro’s camera enhancements are also tiny, but I believe they matter more. Both the Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro feature the same 50-megapixel f/1.85 primary camera sensor as last year. Both include a 12-megapixel ultrawide, but the 7 Pro’s has autofocus and can take macro photos.

Compared to last year’s 4x, the 7 Pro’s 48-megapixel telephoto camera sports 5x optical zoom. Pixel 7’s selfie camera has the same 10.8-megapixel sensor as the 7 Pro and 6 Pro, but it doesn’t have the telephoto module.

Google Pixel 7 Pro

Conclusion

The Google Pixel 7 Pro’s performance and value are unmatched. It has superb industrial design, and the slight tweaks from the 6 Pro make it more elegant. Given the price difference between the 7 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, its camera might be industry-leading. The Pixel 7 Pro, like its predecessors, has poor battery life. The 7 Pro’s outstanding camera, Android 13’s elegant, uncluttered design, and reduced pricing encourage me to remain in Google’s device ecosystem for a long time.

Samsung One UI 5.0

Google Pixel phones were the first to get Android 13, but Samsung is already hard at work porting the next version of the world’s most popular mobile operating system. In August, the beta release of  Samsung One UI 5.0, based on Android 13, started rolling out to European and Asian Galaxy S22 handsets. Later that same month, we got another beta version, and a third might arrive at any moment.

Android 13 has seen several changes.

Since it is based on Android 13,  Samsung One UI 5.0 includes all the system-level updates that version has to offer, such as the new notification permission that requires apps to ask before sending you notifications, the ability to set individual app launch in different languages, and improved dynamic theming with more color palettes to choose from.

Samsung now allows for simultaneous usage by many users.

Support for multiple user profiles on a single device is one of the major new features in  Samsung One UI 5.0. Stock Android has this option, but Samsung has not included it on their devices until now (outside esoteric Secure Folder functionality, that is).

Access the toggle switch for allowing multiple user profiles by going to Settings > Accounts and backup > Users. You’ll be able to create new profiles for usage on your device. Each of your secondary identities will have its own unique home screen, set of preferences, and app library, just as if you had bought a brand-new phone. A visitor profile may also be created.

Samsung One UI 5.0

The newer version of  Samsung One UI 5.0 offers even more color options.

Dynamic theming a la Material You has been available on Samsung devices since One UI 4.1. On the other hand,  Samsung One UI 5.0 provides a wider variety of aesthetic alternatives. You may customize One UI 4.1 to match your wallpaper with one of three available dynamic themes, or you can choose the default theme, which has a blue color scheme across the user interface. Increased theming options are available in  Samsung One UI 5.0, the latest version. We counted as many as eleven dynamic wallpaper-based alternatives and twelve static wallpaper-based themes in a wide variety of colors (including four two-tone variants).

Text recognition has been added to Samsung’s Camera and Gallery applications.

In a similar line, optical character recognition (OCR) is used by the Camera and Gallery applications on a Samsung device to extract text from images and transfer it to the clipboard. When you open the camera app on your phone and aim it at the text, a gold T symbol will appear. When you tap it, it takes a snapshot of the current screen and displays a menu where you may choose to “scrape” text from the image.

Samsung One UI 5.0

Samsung One UI 5.0 introduces new multitasking gestures for experimental purposes.

Samsung is testing out two new multitasking gestures: swiping in from the top left or right corner of the screen will place the active app into a floating windowed view, and swiping up from the bottom of the home screen will launch the second app in split-screen mode. They’re a simple and fast method to get to features that were buried under the recent applications tab.

Samsung One UI 5.0

The aforementioned modifications are only the most notable of many that have been made, which also include:

  1. A reminder now has enhanced sorting capabilities.
  2. Enhanced My Files search capabilities
  3. The Samsung Keyboard allows you to personalize the location of punctuation and function keys.
  4. There’s a tip button in the Camera app’s Pro mode that opens up a variety of tutorials.
  5. The camera app has a watermarking feature that may be customized.
  6. The addition of a search bar to the DeX toolbar
  7. You can customize caller backgrounds
  8. Using a simple zoom toggle, a new accessibility feature allows you to enlarge text and objects.

Conclusion

Oddly, the  Samsung One UI 5.0 beta changelog describes some features that aren’t there or aren’t fully implemented in this version, such as a few wake word-free commands, a new on-device mode for Bixby, and automatic call filtering à la Google Pixel. These improvements are likely destined for subsequent versions of Samsung’s One UI 5 since the company has said that it wants them included.

iPhone 14 New Features

iPhone 14 New Features: What wonderful news! The notch-less iPhone model was released by Apple at last. In its stead comes Dynamic Island, a feature exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Let’s check it out and see how it works.

iPhone 14 New Features: Explain the concept of a Dynamic Island.

Dynamic Island is an iPhone 14 New Features and a one-of-a-kind combination of software and hardware that makes use of a technique known as sub-pixel anti-aliasing to create a dedicated area on your iPhone for a variety of activities, indications, and Live Activities. Dynamic Island is a part of the iOS operating system.

Nerd lingo for “Apple developed a creative technique to conceal the front-facing camera and the Face ID array while adding additional software functionality to a pill-shaped area on the display.” This is what the phrase means.

iPhone 14 New Features

Ways in Which You Can Interact With Dynamic Island

iPhone 14 New Features: Tasks like setting a timer, answering an incoming phone call, checking out with Apple Pay, connecting your AirPods, and managing your music can all be accomplished with an experience that is constant and unobtrusive thanks to The Dynamic Island. While maintaining control over actions taking place on-screen, there are primarily two methods to engage with the Dynamic Island:

  • A touch will immediately launch the app that is matching to the state that Dynamic Island is showing.
  • When you give the button a long push, the necessary controls for the application for which Dynamic Island is showing a status will be shown.

Gaining an Understanding of the Privacy Indicators Provided by the Dynamic Island

iPhone 14 New Features: On the most recent Pro iPhone models, Apple integrates color-coded dot indicators into the center of the Dynamic Island with the release of iOS 16. It alerts users whenever an application may be accessing onboard hardware sensors without their knowledge, giving them a greater degree of control over the privacy of their data. Find out what each dot indication means, and how to determine which applications are accessing your data, by reading the following:

  • An application is now using the microphone on your iPhone, as indicated by the orange dot.
  • An app is utilizing either only the camera or both the camera and the microphone on your iPhone at the same time if you see a green dot next to its name.
iPhone 14 New Features

Find out which applications on your iPhone are seeking sensor data by following these steps:

  1. Access the Control Center by swiping down with one finger from the upper-right corner of the display.
  1. To see a report, you may access it by tapping on the name of the app that has the privacy symbol next to it. In this particular example, we tapped “Instagram,” which brought us the notification that the app for sharing photographs had recently asked permission to access our location as well as our camera.

iPhone 14 New Features: If your Dynamic Island shows a SIM card warning, you may need to move your existing SIM card to your iPhone 14 and activate eSIM on that device.

If your iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max is not unlocked you can click this link; A guide to unlock your new iPhone! : https://www.unlockbase.com/blog/iphone-14-pro-max-unlocked/

It is important to take note that the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max models that are offered for sale in the United States do not come equipped with dedicated SIM card slots and instead rely entirely on eSIMs for their functionality.

Conclusion

In addition, while an activity is taking place, you can tap on Dynamic Island to open the app that is responsible for that activity (for example, the Phone app, FaceTime, or the Music app).

Alternatively, you can tap and hold on the Dynamic Island to bring up a pop-up banner with additional information and even controls for things like playback or calls that are currently taking place. Surprisingly, you may press anywhere on Dynamic Island to do this, even right in the center of the cutout for the camera. If you have any questions, let us know in the comment below!
