The Huawei Mate 50 Pro has a far better color than the Mate 40 Pro. Photos appear clear and true to color. Most importantly, the primary camera’s RYYB sensor eliminates color cast.

Google Pixel 7 Pro: Pros and Cons

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is a slight upgrade over the outstanding Pixel 6 Pro, offering noticeable improvements to the photography experience, particularly at the extreme ends of the zoom.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro, a flagship device with a full experience, is reasonably priced. The camera continues to be in the lead, helped along by a fantastic display, ample power, and a long enough battery life. The icing on the cake is getting first dibs on Android updates.

Google Pixel 7 Pro: Design

Google Pixel 7 Pro continues Pixel 6 series design. It features the same famous camera visor on the rear, an all-glass design, and rounded display edges. The two-tone design language is gone, the curved edges are subtler, and the camera visor circles the camera lenses to highlight them.

The Pixel 7 Pro’s shiny metallic bar scratches and damage easily.Consider buying a Google Pixel 7 Pro case to avoid that issue. The camera visor integrates somewhat more into the phone’s side rails. Despite its advancements, last year’s Pixel 6 series was divisive, so if you disliked it, you probably won’t like this one either.

If you update, you can’t use your Pixel 6 Pro cases since the power and volume buttons have shifted down. Because screenshotting is tougher than it should be, I still find the button location weird. I’d rather exchange the power and volume buttons. Finally, there’s a top mmWave window.

Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro camera

The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro’s camera enhancements are also tiny, but I believe they matter more. Both the Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro feature the same 50-megapixel f/1.85 primary camera sensor as last year. Both include a 12-megapixel ultrawide, but the 7 Pro’s has autofocus and can take macro photos.

Compared to last year’s 4x, the 7 Pro’s 48-megapixel telephoto camera sports 5x optical zoom. Pixel 7’s selfie camera has the same 10.8-megapixel sensor as the 7 Pro and 6 Pro, but it doesn’t have the telephoto module.

Conclusion

The Google Pixel 7 Pro’s performance and value are unmatched. It has superb industrial design, and the slight tweaks from the 6 Pro make it more elegant. Given the price difference between the 7 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, its camera might be industry-leading. The Pixel 7 Pro, like its predecessors, has poor battery life. The 7 Pro’s outstanding camera, Android 13’s elegant, uncluttered design, and reduced pricing encourage me to remain in Google’s device ecosystem for a long time.

Google Pixel phones were the first to get Android 13, but Samsung is already hard at work porting the next version of the world’s most popular mobile operating system. In August, the beta release of  Samsung One UI 5.0, based on Android 13, started rolling out to European and Asian Galaxy S22 handsets. Later that same month, we got another beta version, and a third might arrive at any moment.

Android 13 has seen several changes.

Since it is based on Android 13,  Samsung One UI 5.0 includes all the system-level updates that version has to offer, such as the new notification permission that requires apps to ask before sending you notifications, the ability to set individual app launch in different languages, and improved dynamic theming with more color palettes to choose from.

Support for multiple user profiles on a single device is one of the major new features in  Samsung One UI 5.0. Stock Android has this option, but Samsung has not included it on their devices until now (outside esoteric Secure Folder functionality, that is).

Each of your secondary identities will have its own unique home screen, set of preferences, and app library, just as if you had bought a brand-new phone. A visitor profile may also be created.

The newer version of  Samsung One UI 5.0 offers even more color options.

Dynamic theming a la Material You has been available on Samsung devices since One UI 4.1. On the other hand,  Samsung One UI 5.0 provides a wider variety of aesthetic alternatives. You may customize One UI 4.1 to match your wallpaper with one of three available dynamic themes, or you can choose the default theme, which has a blue color scheme across the user interface. Increased theming options are available in  Samsung One UI 5.0, the latest version. We counted as many as eleven dynamic wallpaper-based alternatives and twelve static wallpaper-based themes in a wide variety of colors (including four two-tone variants).

Text recognition has been added to Samsung’s Camera and Gallery applications.

In a similar line, optical character recognition (OCR) is used by the Camera and Gallery applications on a Samsung device to extract text from images and transfer it to the clipboard. When you open the camera app on your phone and aim it at the text, a gold T symbol will appear. When you tap it, it takes a snapshot of the current screen and displays a menu where you may choose to “scrape” text from the image.

Samsung One UI 5.0 introduces new multitasking gestures for experimental purposes.

Samsung is testing out two new multitasking gestures: swiping in from the top left or right corner of the screen will place the active app into a floating windowed view, and swiping up from the bottom of the home screen will launch the second app in split-screen mode.
